What I find strange is how stations mix emo crap or straight-up alternative to their playlist. It's actually hard to find just a punk station that serves only new and old punk without the alternative emo stuff. I have all but given up searching for other shoutcast stations for inspiration. Thanks for the feedback. That is a hell of a compliment.

punks4punks is a very good station, the only thing i can say to improve the station is to get more songs, i used to listen the station at nights while i was studying for my exams and there were days that i knew what song was going to be played next, so the suggestion i have is to get more songs, other than that your station is excellent
Thanks. The truth of the matter is that it is a very very slow process of getting songs. Mainly because we don't throw just any shit up on punk4punks. If we did the station would suck hard. We spend a long time(mainly me) listening to a very large amount of songs and then narrowing down and then skimming even more until we finally get a cds worth of music to add to the station. This takes a long time and taking out music that we get bored with doesn't help either. I too have noticed that if you are a hard-core listener it seems to repeat more(since I also listen to the station a lot) I will make more of an effort after we fix our server problem to add more music.

The music is great, the idea is great, everything about it is good.
The only thing that I would change is the artistic/creative aspect of the site - mainly the top left graphic.. It's so plain. Is there a reason for that?
I just think that the music/radio is good, why can't the graphics/creative side show that, too?
Love the site. I too agree that the emo crap other stations throw in the mix makes my stomach turn. To each his own and all but god it just doesn't compare to the true punk as in what is played here! Keep up the good work and mix in at your leisure it is always good to listen to good music whether or not I hear the same song every couple of days.
