I was reading something the other day and there was an ad for Warped tour and their sponsor is Cingular telephone! I believe that Cingular is owned by AT&T, one of the companies that wanted to get rid of net nuetrality. Why is a major punk music festival being signed on under a major corporation? Just a thought.

Money.
Seems like if anything gets popular enough, money becomes an issue which then soon kills the movement. Thats why Fads suck

I agree with you that most people don't care where you post or who you are. But I prefer that people try posting in the right topic with their profile. But I rather someone post where ever they want under the guest name then not post at all.

Maybe wapred tour has sold out (or always has) but if it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have gotten to see NOFX and Anti-flag!
I agree with you on that. If I didn't go to warp tour I would have never been able to see, the vandals, nofx, anti-flag, afi and guttermouth play. It was also pretty cool to see tsol play. I don't think that at first warp tour had sold out. It seems recently that warp tour has been more for money then to play music.

It's an easy place to make money for stores though. Like my friend said, some stores that set up shops there get more money in one day then for a few months of acualy having the shop! I dont mind some of the selling out though, cause Vans shoes for $40, that's awesome! But I hate how they over price the food and make you buy there special money.

Warped Tour must have change quite a bit since I went to it. I had no idea they made you use special money to purchase things. Oh well, next time it comes to my area I will have to go to it.
