I took all simple plan songs out of our rotation. If you hear a simple plan song on punk4punks please tell me so that I can search again for simple plan and then take any existing songs out of the rotation. Thanks Admin |

No problem. I am going to be adding more music at the end of January when I get the cds. If you guys hate any artists that we play, tell us. This station is for you guys just as much as it is for us at punk4punks. Thank you for making p4p a better station to listen to.

Hey, how about Good Charlotte because I don't realy consider them punk at all, just Power Pop. I can't say I don't think some of their songs arn't catchy. They're just not punk. | ||||

I honestly don't think ive heard a crappy song on this station yet, its utterly amazing.. except that coheed and cambria song... its drove me insane for the whole 3 mins. punk, i think not.
other than that, im very impressed, thx for the hours of good listening

Tracks that suckGreat deal on Simple Plan. Good move to dis that crap. Can I request some groups that would do P4P some extra kick to its kick assibility.1. Descendents 2. Dead Kennedys 3. The Dickies 4. Dropkick Murphys 5. Screw 32 6. Agent Orange 7. Minor Threat 8. MDC (Millions of Dead Cops) 9. Against Me! I'm pretty sure you play Dropkick already, but I haven't seen any of the other must haves. No punk site should be without crap loads of tracks from the above groups! P4P is a kick ass streaming Web site. Keep up the good work! Props from down south in New Olreans! We are keepin' it locked all day. Later! |

We had the descendents on punk4punks but did not like most of the songs we played on the station. We do have a couple of songs by the dead kennendys on both punk4punks and hard-core punk4punks. I will look into getting some of the dickies, screw 32, agent orange, mdc, and against me!. We already play a lot of minor threat on hard-core punk4punks, so we might not play much of any minor threat on punk4punks. Good suggestions for bands to play. I will consider playing more of each band on punk4punks. Admin |

i just started listening last week and barely turn off winamp XD
greaT stuff for the most part. im kinda more into the old school punk so i love the richard hell, dead kennedys and pistols stuff on here. id love to hear some black flag and bad brains if u got ne. not so much into the motion city soundtrack and stairwell stuff tho. i cant bring myself to call that punk lawl . . . . yeh that was me on the comments last night

We took out all motion city soundtrack and stairwell. I wouldn't consider motion city soundtrack and stairwell emo but they are definitly not hardcore old school punk . I am not much of a bad brains fan and black flag gets old after a while but I will try adding more old school punk in the future.

I agree with them not being punk, but they definitely were influenced by it. I mean, if it wasn't for Punk-O-Rama & them in the late 90s I would be oblivious to all the punk that I'm into now. Still.... I heard "Hood Rats" by DKM & damn is Tim Armstrong sounding rough as hell. |

I also agree that if it wasn't for cheap comp discs like punk-o-rama there would be less of a chance that punk would have caught on in the late 90's. Yeah I am not to sure why tim armstrong has went with the route that rougher is better but in some songs it is almost painful to listen to him. He did do a good job as backup vocalist in the song city to city by left alone. Which we are planning to add to our rotation.

I was watching tv one time and I saw this band, and im like, wow this band is pretty good, turned out it was the singer of Simple Plan's old band. The show said that NOFX were friends with them. | ||||

Someone please tell me what Crass is  I am not sure what crass is so most likely it's not on p4p. The only song I can think of that deals with crass is Anti-Flag -This Is Not A Crass Song.

I guess I will have to make a request topic because I keep thinking you guys are saying that these bands suck and are on punk4punks. Oh well, I will add those to songs to my sample list and will try to add them if they are any good. I was going to get some billy talent but I had a hard time finding it in the usual places that I look. Thanks for the suggestion.

I will run a poll on it but taking out a lot of skate punk like nofx and pennywise would take out a lot of music for our rotation. Unless you can come up with some bands to replace them I probably will not get rid of them. Admin |
