I am the only one who is a musician. I am a percussion player or usually called a drummer. I have been playing drums for about 13 years now. Being a drummer has helped me to appreciate punk rock since the drums are loud and fast but still precise. Plus the music has so much energy to it. Is anyone else here musicians?

thats kool man, i am also a drummer of about 12 years. i have been playin alot of metal lately, but listening to P4P has got me thinkin of settin up a nice little punk kit to get back into it.

Do you have a band? If so would you like to plug them on punk4punks. Besides metal what other styles do you play? I usually play whatever I feel like playing but drums are more of a hobbie for me than a way of life unlike a lot of the drummers that I know.

at the moment i dont really have a serious band goin, especially a punk band. a friend and i have been writin tunes for the past year or so, but its mostly acoustic stuff, some of it can easily be converted to punk though, which we will probably do some time. i also play on and off with a couple of metal bands around the area. i am dyin to play some punk cause its been like 3 years since the last punk band i was in. as soon as i get something goin i will deffiently take up the invite to plug the band on punk4punks. i like to play anything really, as long as its half deciently wrote ...unlike the ones i try to write.

I have only one request for any music that you submit and that is to make sure the sound quality is pretty good. The songs can be ok but the quality of sound has to be decent to good quality. I would suggest using a usb mic plugged into laptop to record your songs and then just send them to my email address for this forum(not the private but the other one). That would be the easiest and cheapest way of recording your songs.

i have done most of the recording from my recent bands on an eight track porta studio, or in a amatuer - pro studio, and the sound quality is about as good as it gets. i was thinkin of doin a really fast dual acoustic thing with a friend so i will keep ya updated on how that is goin

I play bass/guitar and trumpet. the biggy is bass... ive been trying to start a punk band up where i live but this coservative mountain town i live in is musicly dead. its hard to find a drummer with the same genre preference. But i am in a Ska band called The Enjoyables but only playing trumpet in it....

drummer  already about 10 years
right now have some records on PC, i can share it to make you laugh  it was my first bands.. i had no teachers & today's situation is the same.. but now i'm pretty good
