How will the rising prices of gasoline effect punk music in general?
Any thoughts?

Yes and no. It will affect tour costs and also cd costs but online music prices will hopefully stay the same. Speaking of online music, for anyone who is interested in the non mainstream, independent labels, emusic is a great bargain bin of punk rock. Although a lot of it can be crap its better than paying 99 cents a song on itunes. Emusic also has almost evey bad religion, nofx, and pennywise albums. Also they have a lot of good minor threat and other misc. bands.

Well, rising gas prices sorta' have something to do with George W. Bush, and the war, which has given NOFX a lot of songs.

Not to get to off topic here but oil companies are partially to blame for the high oil costs. George W. Bush has given a lot of punk artists a lot to sing about but mostly because of the war.
