I actually don't mind the pop punk stuff (blink182, new misfits, etc), but i still cant figure out why you guys insist that Sublime is at all punk. AFAIC, they're straight up pop alternative. Even Andrew W.K. is more punk'nat. To answer, though: Dig up some SubMachine (usually found on Iron City Punk stuff). Really most anything bearing Iron City labels. |

I agree that sublime is not punk. We took some sublime out of our rotation. Besides sublime not being punk we had way to much sublime in our rotation so it was about time that we took some out. Thanks, Admin! Turns out it'll be a little tough to come across, since it's a teeny little micro label. Here's a semi-recent article about it from the Pittsburgh local paper: http://pittsburghcitypaper.ws/arc...p;action=getComplete&ref=1333 At any rate, I heard these guys in Pittsburgh a few years back, and just assumed they had a national distro. I guess not. In this case, if I manage to find any of this here in Texas, I'll be sure to ask you for a mailing address to send it along. The Iron City Punk comps are quite bitchin. |

Bands I would like to see added.Douglas, 88 Fingers Louie, Red Tape, Shuriken, Straight Faced, New Bomb Turks, Union 13 and Armchair Martian.There are some great songs on your current rotation, however. I was especially pleased to hear Osker and SOIA. |

I will consider putting in some of those artists. I have heard of most those artists and 88 Fingers Louie is one of my favorite. I usually see them on the hopelessly devoted label. Anyways, around Febuary we are going to make a push to add a lot of new artists. We will probably subscribe to yahoo and sample the artists albums through that. We don't buy music through them since its copyrighted. Which I think is a retarded business model.

New MusicFirst I must say, Thank You for the max listener upgrade and Hardcore Punk4Punks. I can enjoy work again. As for bands that you should add (or add more of), I would like to hear some Fugazi, 30 Foot Fall, Zeke, Dwarves, Rx Bandits, 98 Mute. I won't go on cause I don't wanna seem like some bastard naming off a bunch of bands you should have. I also want to say that Refused and Straight Faced from the above posts are great also. Keep up the great music. |

To be honest with you some of those bands did not do so well, so I took them out. Some of those bands I do not have cds for so I will look into buying some cds for those bands and add some of their songs if they are any good. Thanks for the suggestions. Suggest as many bands as you like. One of my favorite things about this station is the suggestions made by the listeners. I always like checking out new bands and getting more music.
