Hey Guys,

I have collected most of those bands for download with only a few exceptions. It will take me a while for me to listen to the albums but I will get up some new stuff as soon as possible.

Hey...love the station, but why is it so NOFX and Tim Armstrong centric? Don't get me wrong, I love NoFX and everything conneted to Armstrong (Op Ivy, Rancd Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards, Transplants and the Distillers) but why so much?

My suggestion? More Propagandhi, Sex Pistols, Nekromantix, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Nerf Herder, Millencolin, Good Riddance, Ten Foot Pole, Randy, Queers, Descendents, ALL and Pinhead Gunpowder

Thanks guys....awesome station. PRC may have been dethroned!

I guess I never thought about it but you might be right. We may be centered on nofx and rancid but the way I look at it, we got a pretty good arrangement of songs involving other artists. The reason it is centered around those artists, is that, the artists that we like usually have more songs that are good such as casualties, unseen, lars frederiksen, and nofx from my point of view. We will think about adding some of those artists. I have a lot of music to sample so it may take a while to add the music you requested. Thanks for the feedback and requests

It's hard not to have a lot of NOFX/Rancid tracks, they have so many project and albums with great songs.

I just found this today and it is great listening while at work. As far as bands I would suggest:
Bombshell Rocks: Especially FROM HERE AND ON
The Living End - All very good, check out the newest STATE OF EMERGENCY
Dillinger Four - These guys rock! Get SITUATIONIST COMEDY right away
The Frustrators - Like these guys a lot, more rock than punk but still great

Its kind of amazing how many bad songs and good songs nofx has. Rancid on the other hand has a lot of good songs and just ok songs. I will look into getting some of these bands. I think that I already have the bombshell rocks album but am not sure. Its been hard to add songs of late cause I have very limited funds and time and have been getting some seriously shitty albums. But with your guys's suggestions it will make it easier to find some good songs.

Besides being a bane on society, myspace is a great place to get a little listen to bands before you buy their stuff. I would say listen to the bands songs on their profiles, don't even need an account, and buy whatever cds sound the best.

And yeah nofx has a lot of songs, is the decline on here or is it just way too long?

I never thought of using my space. I cancelled my napster account but I am going to resubscribe to that so that I can sample large amounts of music for a low cost. The decline is too long. We usually don't have songs over 5 minutes.

Aww, and I love The Decline too. Definatly too long though for a station though.

Back at a job where I can listen to music, joy. So I came accross this place while browsing through Shoutcast and am enjoying it. Then I saw this topic and thought I'd throw 2 cents in.

Gogol Bordello

Amazing band (Probably my favorite) and Gypsy Punks Underdog World Strike is a great albulm... but then all of them so far are.

60 Revolutions and Start Wearing Purple are good songs to start with if you havn't heard of them.

Other posters have pretty much covered other bands I would have mentioned.

I got one of there albums but was never to hot on putting it on the station. Seemed to quirky and not enough punk.

^^ Have to agree with you on that sentiment, not really punkrock. I really like mindless self indulgence and they have the mentality of a punk band but I don't think they would fit very well on this station.

Now that you mention it, your right, I agree they would be fairly out of place compared to everything else.

Alright, got another suggestion; ever heard anything from Throw Rag? Saw them open for Flogging Molly in Toronto one year. They were very awesome, one member played a washer-board! ...too bad he left and not on the new album.

Anyway, 13.ft and Rising is there newest album, Desert Shores has the washer-board still. Both full of good stuff.

By the way, I like lots of the new stuff you've added to the play list.

I looked this up on emusic and they have 2 of the albums you listed. I will listen to it and see what I think and if anything is decent I'll post it when I post the rest of the new music. Thanks for the suggestion.
